About Angels of Change
Angels of Change is a program created by the CHAMPION FUND to support transgender services housed within The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine which has provided health care and supportive services specifically designed for transgender and gender-nonconforming youth since 1996. The young people in these programs receive specialized services from a team of physicians, psychologists, social workers, nurses, case managers, and health educators. The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine has traditionally served youth between the ages of 12 and 24 years old. In 2010, the clinic was expanded to provide services for gender variant children of any age and adolescent and young adults until the age of 25. The Division’s scope of practice includes more than 240 transgender identified youth, gender variant, gender questioning, and gender spectrum children.
